For many young adults, this marks a season of excitement, sadness, and diplomas. Many of these students are anxiously awaiting their next step in life, and some of these individuals may feel that the best time of their lives have come to a close.
Oh how wrong they are! Here's why:
High School Students Are Misery. I'm sure everyone is leaving some friends behind and that's on the forefront of their mind, but there are a lot of miserably annoying students in school. I recommend not talking to these kids ever again. Delete them from Facebook. And write something petty in their yearbooks.
Your Parents Aren't Involved Anymore. When you decide to be a disobedient high school student, administration likes to inform your parents. Gone are the days when you need a parent's signature to attend detention. Now you can be as adventurous as you want, and no one is going to rely on your parents to give you a proper punishment.
No More Math! Unless you like math, then you probably don't have to deal with history anymore. Even if you're going to college after graduation, you'll likely be able to avoid the subjects you hate and focus on studying what you love.
You're In Control of Your Schedule. Well, unless you're employer determines your schedule. But it's your decision to be employed by this person. When you're in college, you can choose your own schedule. You can pick to take classes at 8 AM or 8 PM if you want.
You'll Make New Friends. It's funny how life can just fall into place. You'll be able to meet new people to hang out with, and keep your old friends as well. You'll find a job eventually. Graduating high school isn't the end of your life. In fact, it's just the start of it.
